“A draw isn’t the worst result playing away from home in bad conditions” Stevie Moan Nov 27, 2017

We came away with only the 1 point on Saturday in a game we were well capable of taking all 3. Playing away from home on a Saturday evening after a 2-hour journey in the rain/snow on wet soggy pitch is a hard task. It is hard to play nice and attractive football in these conditions. However, I think we deserved to win the game. We had most of the play and created many chances which we did not take. Like the previous game, their keeper was in fine form and denied us on many occasions. We started the second half sloppy and went 1-0 down through a mistake at the back. Instead of dropping our heads we pushed on and continued to create chances. Them going down to 10 men was a huge boost for us and we pushed men up the field and put them under serious pressure. We finally got back into the game when Darren Murray scored a great goal from a well worked corner 15 minutes from time. We had another chance towards the end of the game which we were unable to convert. Overall a draw isn’t the worst result playing away from home in bad conditions.
